CD print options for every requirement
Printing is an essential part of the presentation of your CD. It not only brands the disc with your company logo or other graphic imagery, but also helps identify the content.
With CDs, you can print on all of the non-data side. And because we can print before we duplicate on low volume jobs, we can print while you are waiting for the master CD to become available. Just supply us with the artwork and we’ll do the rest.
But you still have decisions to make that depend on your budget, your schedule and the quality required. For instance, ink-jet or thermal printing is ideal for economical, short-run 1-4 colour printing, and with inkjet, you can print almost anything that’s on your computer.
Screen printing, on the other hand, is best for large volume (over 500) jobs where high-impact colour images are required. CDs in the shops are printed using the screen process. You can also choose litho printing for large runs, to get that little extra pizzazz and detail.
Why not overprint your screen-printed CD design with customised information using the Inkjet printing process? This allows you to stock any amount of ‘generic’ CD designs that can then be overprinted at the time of production with titles or version numbers to identify the revised content.
