Helping to grow business for the Horticultural Trade Association
The Horticultural Trade Association (HTA) is dedicated to supporting everyone involved in the plant business, including garden centres, nurseries and landscape gardeners. One of its recent promotions involved a 99p special offer to the public through the Sun Newspaper and at the Chelsea Flower Show for a branded SVCD that demonstrated conifer-pruning techniques.
The challenge for Exemplar was to keep the duplication cost to a minimum so that the client could cover their costs and maintain a reasonable profit. We recommended converting the demonstration film from the current DVD format to the more cost effective Super Video CD (SVCD) format. This has the added advantage in offering a much wider choice of drives the CD could be played on.
We converted the DVD to SVCD and supplied a proof copy for approval. The product and card wallet was printed in a 4-colour litho process and 5000 were delivered on time and within budget.
