DVD Printing
DVD print options to suit every requirement
Printing on your DVD disc brings it to life. This not only helps identify the content, but also brands the disc with your company logo or other graphic imagery.
With single-sided DVD discs (and most of them are, unless you have massive data storage requirements that demand double-sided DVDs), you can print on all of the non-data side. Just give us the artwork and we’ll do the rest.
But, like everything, you still have decisions to make that depend on your budget, your schedule and the quality required. Basically, you can use inkjet or thermal printing for economical, short-run, 1-4 colour printing. With inkjet, you can print just about anything that’s on your computer.
Screen printing is the method of choice for bulk (over 500) projects where high-impact, economical colour images are required. This is how retail DVDs in the shops are printed. Litho printing, also for large runs, gives that little extra pizzazz and graphic detail.
You can even overprint your screen-printed DVD design with customised information using the thermal printing process. This lets you stock any amount of ‘generic’ DVDs then overprint them at the time of production with version numbers or titles to identify the revised information or upgraded content.
And because we can print before we duplicate, we will print your low volume DVD jobs while you are waiting for the master DVD to become available.
